Job Ogonda (Director for East Africa and the Nairobi Process)


Job Ogonda is IHRB’s new Kenya based Director for East Africa and the Nairobi Process, which seeks to ensure responsible business practices in Kenya’s emerging extractives industry. He is a development professional with over 16 years experience leading national and regional institutions and programmes specialising on issues of accountability, economic governance and public sector performance. Job has provided institutional, knowledge and project leadership at Transparency International, the United Nations, the International Centre for Development and HelpAge International. Prior to joining IHRB, Job served as Senior Advisor on Public Administration and Anti-Corruption with the UN Development Programme’s Africa Regional Office in Addis Ababa. Job is a board member of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and the Institute of Ethics-East Africa and previously served on the board of the Institute of Directors.
