Robert is a Senior Manager in KPMG Kenyaâ€™s Tax Services department. Robert has over 11 years tax experience including international experience in transfer pricing having been seconded to KPMG LLP, Chicago office. Robert is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Public Accountant. He sits on the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya Public Finance and Tax Workstream that debates and advises the Institute on tax and fiscal proposals.

Eng. Joseph K. Njoroge, is the the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Energy & Petroleum, since July 2013. He holds an MBA with a major in Strategic Management, and First Class Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering; and, has a distinguished Electrical Engineer career spanning over 3 decades. Prior to his current appointment, he was the Managing Director of Kenya Power & Lighting Company Limited, the country’s transmitter, distributor and retailer of electricity, a position he held for six years. Eng. Njoroge is a Registered Consulting Engineer, a Chartered Engineer, and a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK) and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors of Kenya and a trainer in Corporate Governance.
Sim has 16 years experience handling complex commercial and energy transactions across East Africa and is currently the legal advisor to the Government on the procurement of a lead investor to develop Uganda’s first greenfield oil refinery. Sim graduated from Columbia Law School and is licensed to practice law in New York.
