Tina Nduta is a Mining & Energy Consultant and Entrepreneur Passionate about natural resource development.
Tina has six years’ experience in gold exploration (Tanzania). Where she co-founded Kerende Gold Exploration Limited. Prior to joining the mining industry, Tina worked for three years in the pharmaceutical and automotive industries (Kenya).
She has a diverse commodity development portfolio expertise that includes; gold exploration, sediment build in copper, iron and oil and gas. The renewable energy portfolios include renewable energy development in solar, hydro, geothermal and wind.
Extensive knowledge of the East African geology. Key areas of interest include The Rift System and the Great Lake Basins, The continental break up and the subsequent East Africa coastal hydrocarbon basins, Achaean greenstone belt of Tanzania (Lake Victoria Gold Area), Mozambique belt and Proterozoic central African copper belt and West Congo mobile belt.
Tina is an expert in project financing. Regulations for securities offerings in private placement to fund mining/ energy resources. Well versed with the procedures of undertaking the technical reports NI; 43 -101 and JORC in listing private corporations and in foreign jurisdiction, M A transactions and joint ventures. Associates she has worked with in project financing are Canadian firms Heenan Blaike and Gowlings Laufler Henderson LLP.
In 2014 Tina founded East Africa Extractives Network. A regional platform that is focused on connect opportunities in mining and energy industries. The network covers mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, electric power and energy infrastructure.
Tina is a view columnist in the national and regional newspapers on issues that concern mining and energy.
Tina is also a finalist for the 2016 'Future Energy Leader Award' by East Africa Power Convention Award (EAPIC).
